Mrs. Virginia Heidbreder Passes at Age 92
Many of our class enjoyed so very much being a part of Ms. Heidbreder's classes and plays. I had the pleasure of being in The Curious Mrs. Savage and A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1959-1960. Since our class left Clover Park, Virginia lived near American Lake and later at the Point Defiance Village in the north end of Tacoma. Rich and I visited her there and corresponded with her often. Her beloved husband, Rod, worked for Puget Sound Bank. He passed away years several ago. They did not have children. We, her students, were her children. What a terrific teacher she was...bright, high standards, and caring. She passed away peacefully at her apartment in the Wynwood of Allenmore - Assisted Living Home on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. What a great lady! She will certainly be missed.
